Youth in Revolt Trailer: Michael Cera + Mustache = ?
I've never read C.D. Payne's Youth in Revolt, but it's always seemed like a classic cult novel: published by a small press in 1993 and picked up by a big publisher after it became a word-of-mouth hit. (And like every cult novel, not everybody "got it": Publishers Weekly called it "rambling, logorrheic, self-indulgent.") But cult no more: in October it's going to get the full Juno treatment:
Michael Cera + mustache = either Megahit or Shark Jump (for both of them). I bow to no one in my adoration for the young comedian--after three seasons of spirited debates with my wife over who was the best character in Arrested Development (Buster? Tobias? Lucille 2? Bob Loblaw?), we both had to agree: it was George-Michael. His slyly tremulous delivery made him the master of even seasoned geniuses like David Cross and Jason Bateman. The schtick still works for me, but will it ever run out of steam? Probably it will for Cera before it does for me...
That said, Michael Cera + mustache + Fred Willard? You really can't go wrong there. Fred Willard will never, ever jump the shark. --Tom

Haha, this movie looks hilarious – gotta love the badass ’stache, even if it is fake. I don’t care if Cera can only play one type of character, he’s great at it. Plus, now I won’t have to read the book (cross that off the ‘bucket list’).
Great also to hear The Old 97’s song “Timebomb” at the end of the trailer. Such a classic tune, hope to hear it more in the movie
