Over at the Audible blog, they've announced their favorite audiobooks of the year. There are some great books on this list. Here's a sample.
Best Audiobook of the Year: The Nix by Nathan Hill (narrated by Ari Fliakos) - This debut novel was one we considered for the Best Book of the Year, so it's no surprise to see that the Audible editors picked it as the top Audiobook of the Year.
Narrator of the Year: The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead (narrated by Bahni Turpin) - We selected this book as our top book of the year, so again, we're not surprised to see it here. Click on the link to hear a sample of the narration.
Best Celebrity Memoir: Born A Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah (narrated by Trevor Noah) - Something has happened with Trevor Noah. He's gotten really big. Born in South Africa, he's written more then just a celebrity memoir.
Best Business Book: Smarter Faster Better: The Secrets of Being Productive in Life and Business by Charles Duhigg (narrated by Mike Chamberlain) - New York Times writer Charles Duhigg hit it big as an author with The Power of Habit. His latest book is also a hit, and Audible picked it as their best business book of 2016. You can go here to see an interview I did with Charles Duhigg when Smarter Faster Better was published.
