2017 Children's Book Award Winners

RadiantChild200This morning in Atlanta, Georgia the winners of the biggest awards in children's books were announced.  Like last year, there were a couple of titles that took home multiple honors and wins, including Radiant Child, a beautiful picture book biography of the artist Jean Michel Basquiat.

Today's awards are somewhat unusual in that there are no lists of finalists, so the morning of the announcements is our first and only opportunity to see which children's books the American Library Association deemed the best of those published in 2016 for each award category.

Below are a handful of the top awards and the winning titles, click through each to see the honored titles and past recipients.  You'll find these and other children's book awards here.
