Interview with Steve Coll (Amazon Wire #71)

This week on Amazon Wire we're talking to Pulitzer prize-winning author Steve Coll about his book The Bin Ladens: An Arabian Family in the American Century that released earlier this month.

In his latest book, the author presents the story of the Bin Laden family's rise from poverty to privilege and how one son's rebellion changed America forever. Among the book's most shocking details is the little known fact that the Bin Ladens owned an impressive share of America upon which Osama ultimately declared war.

Steve Coll has written a fascinating account of the complex cultural and religious times in which Osama and his 34 siblings were raised. He recently spoke with Amazon's books editor Tom Nissley.
